ZEISS Conquest 56mm binoculars are particularly fast representatives of this line of binoculars. Even in the late twilight they allow bright high-contrast observing in the proven ZEISS quality.
The ZEISS Conquest 8x56 and 10x56 are the fastest models in this binocular series. With a 7mm (or 5.6 mm) exit pupil they provide bright images when hunting or nature observing at dusk (e.g. at the edge of a forest). They are also excellent for the night sky: Sweeping through the summer Milky Way is a fascinating experience for example.
The Conquest 56mm models also provide the usual easy handling. At only 950 grams in weight, these binoculars are the ideal companion for any purpose.
The particularly robust housing is made from a glass fibre reinforced high-performance polyamide, which has proven successful in many other ZEISS products.
The telescope is equipped with shock-absorbing rubber armour and, even with gloves on, fits perfectly in your hands.
The mechanics are also of the highest quality: the centre focusing wheel means focusing is both fast and precise. Only a small rotational movement is required to change focus from close by to infinity.
The instrument provides high-contrast images which remain sharp right up to the outer edge of the image. The phase-corrected Abbe-Koenig prisms and ZEISS T* multi-layer coatings applied to every air-glass surface allow greater than 90% light transmission. The housing is waterproof and nitrogen-filled and hence also free from interior fogging. The large eye relief and comfortable interpupillary distance mean that spectacle wearers can also comfortably take in the entire field of view.
